Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International / Arusha Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by your guide, who will accompany you to your accommodation in Arusha. With our deep local knowledge, you’re in excellent hands from the moment you land to the moment you depart.
Day 2: Full day Safari to Tarangire National Park
Embark on an unforgettable journey to Tarangire National Park after a delightful breakfast. Marvel at the ancient baobab trees and the incredible diversity of wildlife, including large herds of elephants, leopards, lions, and giraffes. The park’s abundant birdlife and dramatic predator-prey interactions promise a thrilling safari experience. After a full day of adventure, we retire to our lodge for a relaxing evening and overnight stay.
Day 3: Morning Safari in Tarangire National Park
Continue your exploration of Tarangire with a half-day safari, followed by a scenic drive to Karatu town. Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon, where you can unwind amidst the beautiful surroundings and perhaps take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool before dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Game drive to Ngorongoro Crater
Rise early for an exhilarating drive to the iconic Ngorongoro Crater, home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife, including the elusive black rhino. Enjoy a memorable game drive inside the crater, followed by a picnic lunch at the crater floor. In the afternoon, we journey to the Ndutu region for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Game Drives in Ndutu, Migration tracking
Set out before dawn for a sunrise game drive along the shores of Lake Ndutu, where you’ll witness thousands of animals grazing on the lush grass. Enjoy a full day of game drives through the region, taking in the breathtaking landscapes and the awe-inspiring Wildebeest Migration. Your guide will ensure you have the best chances of witnessing this remarkable natural phenomenon.
Day 6: Game Drives in Ndutu – Central Serengeti
Embark on morning game drives en route to Seronera in the central Serengeti. After a delightful picnic lunch, explore the vast plains of the Serengeti and marvel at the abundant wildlife. Spend the night in the heart of the Serengeti, surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.
Day 7: Big Cat Game drives at Serengeti National Park
Begin your day with an early morning game drive in search of Tanzania’s most impressive wildlife, including the iconic big cats. Explore the Serengeti’s savannah landscape and encounter crocodiles, hippos, giraffes, and more. After a full day of adventure, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Central Serengeti (Balloon Ride by option)
Today, enjoy the option of a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti, offering a unique perspective of this breathtaking landscape. Spend the rest of the day relaxing at the lodge or enjoying light game drives, taking in the beauty of the Serengeti.
Day 9: Departure
Fly from Seronera airstrip to Arusha airport, where we’ll pick you up and transfer you to Arusha Coffee Lodge for a farewell lunch. Take some time to relax or explore Arusha town before heading to the airport for your onward journey. Depart with cherished memories of your incredible safari experience in Tanzania.
