Safari Overview

Embark on an unforgettable safari adventure in Tanzania, where you’ll witness the beauty of nature and encounter diverse wildlife at every turn.

Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

Upon arrival at the airport, your driver will be waiting for you with a sign bearing one of your names. You’ll then be transported to Arusha, approximately a 45-minute drive, where you’ll spend the night.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire

After a hearty breakfast, we’ll embark on our first safari game drive in Tarangire National Park, known for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds. As we follow the Tarangire River, we’ll encounter various wildlife, including vervet monkeys, baboons, kudus, and impalas. Tarangire is a gem of East Africa, offering breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife. We’ll spend the night at Country Lodge with full board.

Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti

Early in the morning, we’ll head to Serengeti, famous for the Great Migration and its high concentration of predators. En route, we’ll pass through Ngorongoro Conservation Area and enter Serengeti through the Nabi Gate. Our journey will take us through vast plains dotted with kopjes, favorite resting spots for lions and leopards. In Seronera, we’ll focus on spotting leopards around the Seronera River, which hosts a dense population of big cats

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

We’ll embark on a safari in search of large predators, heading south towards the Seronera River Valley, known as the “Capital of African Big Cats.” Here, we’ll have the chance to spot lions, leopards, and cheetahs amidst a variety of habitats. Our professional guide will lead us to areas teeming with wildlife, including elephants, hippos, and crocodiles. Tonight, we’ll enjoy the sounds of the Serengeti at Serengeti Tented Camp with full board.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, we’ll continue our safari to Ngorongoro Crater, home to over 50 black rhinos and a diverse array of wildlife. Our experienced guide will lead us into the UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we’ll explore the unique ecosystem and abundant wildlife. We’ll spend the night at Karatu Lodge with full board.

Day 6: Lake Eyasi (Visit to Datoga and Hadzabe Tribes)

We’ll visit the indigenous tribes of Hadzabe and Datoga, experiencing their traditional way of life. The Hadzabe are hunter-gatherers, while the Datoga are known for their pastoral lifestyle and metalworking skills. Afterward, we’ll head to Ngare Nanyuki to interact with the Maasai tribe, enjoying cultural activities and traditional

Day 7: Sunrise Walking Safari / Kikuletwa Hot Spring

Start your day with a sunrise walking safari led by Maasai guides, followed by a visit to the Kikuletwa Hot Spring for swimming and lunch. Kikuletwa Hot Spring, near Moshi, is a hidden treasure loved by locals and travelers. Surrounded by lush plants and tall palm trees, it offers a peaceful atmosphere. The spring’s clear, turquoise water tempts you to take a dip and unwind.

What makes Kikuletwa special is its natural minerals, thought to have healing powers. When you soak in the warm water, it eases tension and relaxes your muscles, giving you a break from your journey. Whether you prefer lounging in the shallow areas or swimming in deeper spots, it’s a rejuvenating experience in the heart of nature. In the evening, we’ll transfer to Moshi for dinner and overnight stay with full board.

Day 8: Materuni Waterfall & Coffee Tour

Today, we’ll visit Materuni village for a short hike to the waterfall and a local coffee tour. Upon reaching the Materuni Waterfalls, you’ll be greeted by the sight and sound of water plunging gracefully into a natural pool below. The cool mist of the waterfall refreshes the air, creating a serene atmosphere that invites contemplation and appreciation of nature’s beauty. Take a moment to bask in the awe-inspiring scenery, capturing memories that will last a lifetime.

Coffee Excursion:

In addition to its natural wonders, Materuni offers a unique opportunity to explore the cultural heritage of Tanzania through its coffee plantations. Embark on a guided tour of a local coffee farm, where you’ll learn about the traditional methods of coffee cultivation and production. Engage with local farmers as they demonstrate the intricate process of harvesting and processing coffee beans, from tree to cup.  After lunch, we’ll transfer to the airport according to your flight schedule.
