Safari Overview
This is a very special tour that concentrates on the Serengeti to follow the great migration. You will spend at least 4 nights in the park, usually two in the Central Area (largest concentration of big cats) and two where the Migration is according to the time of the year. We have designed this particular tour so that you finish the safari in the most remote location in the Serengeti, and then fly from there to Zanzibar for three days of relaxation.
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
Upon your arrival in Tanzania, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. Take some time to relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy a full-day game drive in this picturesque park, known for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, baboons, and more. Optional activities include a bike tour or a boat excursion. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater
Early in the morning, journey to Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend into the crater for a memorable wildlife experience. Spot a variety of animals, including the rare black rhino, and marvel at the breathtaking scenery. Afterward, ascend the crater and transfer to your accommodation.
Day 4: Day 4: Serengeti National Park (Central)
Today, head towards the iconic Serengeti National Park. Enjoy the spectacular drive through endless plains and witness the incredible diversity of wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for the big cats and large predators that call this park home. Arrive at your camp and settle in for the night.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park (Central)
Enjoy a full day of exploration in the Serengeti. Your experienced guide will tailor the day’s activities to your preferences, whether it’s morning and afternoon game drives or a full-day adventure with a picnic lunch.
Day 6-7: Serengeti National Park (Following the Great Migration)
Experience the thrill of tracking the Great Migration across the remote corners of the Serengeti. Spend two days exploring different areas of the park, following the herds as they move across the plains. Witness nature’s incredible spectacle up close.
Day 8: Flying to Zanzibar
After an early morning game drive and brunch, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar. Arrive in this tropical paradise and unwind on the stunning beaches. Optional activities include a tour of Stone Town, a spice tour, or a visit to Jozani Forest.
Day 9: Relax and enjoy the beauty of Zanzibar.
Spend your day lounging on the beach, swimming in the turquoise waters, or exploring the island’s cultural and natural attractions
Day 10: Departure
Take some final moments to soak in the tranquility of Zanzibar before transferring to the airport for your international flight home. Depart with unforgettable memories of your safari and beach adventure in Tanzania.
