Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International or Arusha Airport, your guide will be there to greet you warmly. You’ll be escorted to your accommodations in Arusha, where you can unwind and prepare for the exciting journey ahead. Rest assured; our knowledgeable guides will ensure you’re well taken care of from the moment you arrive.
Day 2-4: Horse-Riding Safari in Arusha National Park
Start your day with refreshing tea and coffee before embarking on a thrilling horse-riding safari. Ride into the stunning landscapes of Arusha National Park, where you’ll encounter a diverse array of wildlife, from buffaloes and giraffes to elephants and elusive leopards. Experience the magical feeling of traversing through big canopy forests and legendary riding paths, following in the footsteps of the remarkable Margarete Trappe. Enjoy picturesque lunches amidst the wilderness and evenings under the stars at our campsite, nestled at the foot of Mt. Meru.
Day 5: Tarangire National Park
After a delightful breakfast, we journey to Tarangire National Park, home to ancient baobab trees and vast herds of elephants. Keep your camera ready for dramatic wildlife encounters and birdwatching opportunities. A full day of game drives awaits before we retire to our comfortable lodge for the night.
Day 6: Half-Day Safari in Tarangire & Transfer to Karatu
Savor another morning amidst the wildlife of Tarangire National Park before we head to Karatu town. Relax and enjoy the amenities of our lodge, including a refreshing swimming pool, amidst the picturesque landscape.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater
Rise early for an exhilarating game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife. Marvel at the dense predator population and unique ecosystem as you explore this natural wonder. After lunch amidst the crater’s beauty, we journey to Serengeti for an evening of relaxation at our tented camp.
Day 8: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti
Embark on an early morning game drive in the iconic Serengeti, where acacia trees and granite kopjes adorn the vast plains. Keep your eyes peeled for Tanzania’s most impressive wildlife, including big cats and crocodiles. Enjoy a full day of adventure before retiring to our camp for the night.
Day 9: Return to Karatu
After breakfast, we embark on a leisurely drive back to Karatu, offering plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. Reflect on the unforgettable experiences of our safari adventure amidst the stunning landscapes of Northern Tanzania.
Day 10: Departure
After a delicious breakfast, bid farewell to Tanzania as we transfer you to Arusha and onward to the airport for your departure. En route, immerse yourself in the rich culture of the Maasai village, offering a glimpse into traditional African life.
